Arsenal have made known an interest in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, the Italian’s representative has confirmed.
Hectic winter window
The North Londoners were so busy in the winter transfer window with a couple of signings and departures at the club.
The Gunners permitted Chile star Alexis Sanchez to join rivals Manchester United but Arsenal brought in Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the direct swap deal.
Arsenal sold Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin in January to raise funds for a key signing.

However, Arsenal have struggled at the back in the current season after conceding 35 goals in 26 matches in the League so far this season.
They were linked heavily with a potential move for Rugani last month but a deal did not materialise.
Interest in Rugani confirmed
Rugani’s representative confirmed Arsenal are keen on the 23-year-old defender but underlined his loyalty to the Italian Serie A champions.
The gunners brought in 20-year-old Greece international defender Konstantinos Mavropanos in a £1.8million transfer deal from PAS Giannina after 16 matches in Greece’s top division.
The North Londoners will take on bitter rivals Tottenham in the North London derby at Wembley Stadium on Saturday lunchtime after their sensational 5-1 victory over Merseysider’s Everton last weekend.
