Arsenal could launch a swoop for AS Roma star Cengiz Under in the winter transfer market, according to a report from an Italian outlet Il Messaggero.
However, there is a possible snag in any potential transfer with the young Turkish ace expressing his desire to remain with the Rome club ‘for a very long time’ after penning contract extension.
Arsenal are not the only European club keen on the attacker. According to the Italian newspaper, Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur are among the teams holding an interest in the 22-year-old winger.
Arsenal apparently scouted the transfer market for a wide attacker that would carry a threat on the ball, hence the arrival of Nicolas Pepe from LOSC Lille.
