If Danny Welbeck fully returns from his injury lay-off, Arsene Wenger may be having up to three of his strikers on the bench and so more competition for places.
According to a recent report, Arsenal are in talks with Ipswich town in a bid to send Chuba Akpom on a six months loan deal.
The forward, who is currently out after injuring his back, could join the Championship club for the remainder for the season in order to get some experience.
Akpom is an upcoming star but has found himself in several clubs on loan.
The youngster had a decent preseason but he is unable to make it even to the bench of Arsenal, which is reasonable given the class of players in his position at Arsenal.
A loan move could help him, if he gets game time, but how would this one with Ipswich be any different to his previous loan spells? Would it actually help him?
