Almost Signed! Player’s father confirms Arsenal tabled offer before Adam completed alternative transfer

North London club Arsenal seemingly made a huge late effort to complete the transfer of Adam Hlozek before he ended up sealing a move to Bundesliga giant Bayer Leverkusen instead.

Hlozek appears like he could be set to take the game by storm in years to come, having performed brilliantly and become one of the most exciting young forwards on the continent during his playing time at Sparta Prague.

Now, the 19-year-old starlet will get the opportunity to show what he can do at the German side, who have often been a fine stepping stone club for some of the top prospects in Europe.

It seems appears the gunners were very keen to try signing him in the summer, though, with the player’s father Zbynek Hlozek has said Arsenal the running for his son’s signature late on, but eventually failed with their intervention.
