According to British media reports, Premier League giants Manchester United face stiff competition from rivals Manchester City and Arsenal in the race to land Napoli ace Jorginho.
The Sun is claiming that United are keen on signing the Italy international midfielder at the end of the 2017/2018 English Premier League campaign.
The same report states the midfielder has a deal that is prepared to run until the summer of 2020 but his contract hasn’t stopped Premier League suitors sending scouts to closely monitor the Napoli star.
As per the same article, English Premier League quartet Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are all keen on the Brazilian-born Italian midfielder, who is valued about £60million.
The midfielder has netted two goals and has provided four assists in 24 matches in Italian Serie A this campaign to help Napoli compete favourably for the Italian Serie A title.
However, the Naples outfit suffered a 4-1 defeat to Roma in the Serie A last weekend to cast major doubt on their title credentials.
The club are a point clear of reigning Italian Serie A champions Juventus at the apex of the log but the Turin giant have one match in hand.
He has sealed himself as one of the best footballers in Serie A over the last few campaigns.
