It did look like England international midfielder Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal career was coming to an end when the Arsenal star was sent on loan to AFC Bournemouth for the 2016-17 League season.
Indeed, the 25-year-old Englishman was widely tipped to depart the Emirates Stadium during the recent shut summer transfer window, but he remained with the North Londoners beyond the August transfer deadline.
Once seen as one of England’s hottest young talents, Jack Wilshere was in the Gunners team at the age of 16, but his development has been hindered by several injuries in recent campaigns.
It does look like there is some light at the end of the tunnel for the midfielder now, however, with the player featuring three times for the Gunners this season since returning from his injury lay-off.
Indeed, the fan favourite, who is valued at about £16.2m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has been impressive in the UEFA Europa League, and it is only a matter of time before Arsenal tactician Arsene Wenger hands him some English Premier League playing time.
With next summer’s FIFA World Cup at stake, Thee Lions boss Gareth Southgate will also be watching closely the progress of the midfielder.
Whatever happens with England National team, it seems that the Gunners fans are very much in support of Jack Wilshere.
