Arsenal handed SURPRISE Injury boost ahead of the Tottenham game – Not Walcott

<>Wenger

Ahead of the Arsenal vs. Tottenham game, there is a report that Arsenal could face a light-weight Tottenham side this weekend if all tips in our favour. According to reports form English sources, there are chances of two of the Sp*rs players missing the north London this Sunday.

The Sp*rs are one of the fittest sides in the EPL, as they have only three of their key players currently injured. however, amongst the aforementioned are two of their stars – Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane. Particularly the latter who has being sorely missed since the Premier League game against Sunderland.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino was quoted as saying prior to the Leicester game last week that he expect the England international to return against Arsenal, but that looks unlikely, as it is reported that the player is yet to recuperate fully.

This is good news since our bitter rivals have struggled for goals in his absence. Whilst he has not been particularly convincing, he has scored some crucial goals for them like the solitary goal which saw them run away 1-0 winners against Sunderland in September.

Even if he is rushed back to face us, he stands no chance against the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi who are likely to pocket him, and capable of sending him back to the world of oblivion the injury room has to offer.

The derby promises to be an exciting encounter, and history suggests form matters not in this tie. However, that is not to say they won’t take a hiding in the game. Tottenham are yet unbeaten, so handing them the defeat at the Emirates stadium would earn us more bragging rights.
