Arsenal keen on bargain swoop for €32m-valued Portuguese

Arsenal are set to reignite their interest in Benfica centre-back Ruben Dias as the Gunners board prepare to replace France international Laurent Koscielny, according to the latest reports in England.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the club need to sign a new central defender this summer after Laurent made it clear that he wants to depart the north London side this summer transfer window.

The same article claims that Arsenal have been looking at Ruben since the start of the transfer market but the Gunners could step up their rumoured interest in the Portuguese youngster.

The UEFA Europa League runners-up were initially concerned that a summer deal could be too expensive for Ruben but Arsenal are now ready to enter into negotiations with SL Benfica.
