Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has admitted that he rejected joining the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to play for the Gunners, Football.London exclusively reports.
Only turning 17 three months ago, Ealing-born Bukayo is one of Arsenal’s hottest academy talents and he impressed last week as the Gunners sealed a 1-0 victory over Qarabag in their final Europa League game.
It was Saka’s senior home debut for the north London giants. A pacey winger who loves to drive forward, the star has always played in age groups way above his own because of the promise that he has shown during his development.
The young attacker was first spotted playing for his local club Greenford Celtic as a seven-year-old and has now spoken of the interest that he received from professional sides, even at that young age.
