Arsenal Ready To Sell Bellerin For £40m, Player Wants Move

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Barcelona have reported failed in meeting Arsenal asking price for 21-year-old full-back Hector Bellerin, who there’ve been strong reports in recent days linking him with a move to the Nou Camp.

The explosive full-back came through the ranks of the Catalan giants before he joined Arsenal in 2011 and now he has been heavily linked with a return back to his old club.

La Liga Defending champions Barcelona are in need of a new full-back after the departure of Dani Alves and Bellerin thought to be an ideal replacement for Brazilian star.

However, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reports the Catalan club are struggling to do a deal as the demands are too high.

Arsene Wenger’s side are in absolutely no desire to part with Bellerin and instead are ready to offer him a new bumper deal that will tie him down at Emirates Stadium.

Any decision from the Gunners to sell would reportedly have to involve a huge bid of over £40million – a figure that Catalans are unwilling to pay for their former player.
