Arsenal set to replace Arsene Wenger with this to Premier League manager – Club Icon Ian Wright

Former Gunner Ian Wright believes Burnley boss Sean Dyche should be considered as a perfect replacement for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger  at the Emirates Stadium, but knows truly well there is no way the North London club will welcome the idea.

Sean Dyche has worked ‘magic’ at Burnley since taking over at Turf Moor back in 2012, leading the side to the English Premier League and consolidating their position thereby avoiding relegation last term.

The 46-year-old has impressed pretty well during the early stages of this season, with the Lancashire team currently sitting in seventh place after yet another good away outing at the weekend, defeating Ronald Koeman’s Everton 1-0.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger signed what is believed to be his last contract at the Emirates in the summer and Ian Wright insists Sean Dyche has shown he has what it takes to perform as a coach at the next level.

However, Wright does not believe he will get the opportunity to do so at the Emirates Stadium when the Frenchman’s two-year contract, despite being very well equipped for the managerial position job.

Asked if Ian Wright would want the Burnley manager as the man to replace Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal legend replied: ‘Yeah. The fact is, would they [Arsenal hierarchy] give Sean Dyche that job?
