Arsenal shot-stopper Petr Cech has disclosed that he doesn’t expect to play from the start this weekend, with Colombian international David Ospina set to play from the start in the League Cup final encounter with league leaders Manchester City, the Mirror claims.
The veteran goalkeeper is the club’s number one choice safe hand and that has been symbolized by Arsene Wenger’s stance to favour him in the English Premier League in recent campaigns.
However, Ospina has often been featured in cup games and this has been the case all through the Carabao Cup campaign so far.
It will be the Gunners first opportunity to win some silverware this campaign and with the side already out of the Emirates FA Cup, Arsene Wenger will be out for victory over Pep Guardiola’s team.
Ospina will need to be on top of his game if he is called to duty, with Manchester City’s brilliant attacking options continuing to perform well.
