Arsenal to be hit by 2 hammer-blow in January as Mesut Ozil exit to Italy looms

North London giant Arsenal could suffer a second major blow in January with Serie A giant Inter Milan reportedly closely monitoring Mesut Ozil’s situations.

As well as Chile international Alexis Sanchez allegedly prepared to sign for any other club that is not Arsenal at the beginning of next year, Mesut Ozil could now also be set to depart.

The Germany international, who has under 12 months remaining on his current Arsenal is being linked with Serie A giant Inter Milan and the Gunners who are believed to have concluded with the 28-year-old leaving, might cash in on him later in January rather than let him leave on a free next summer.

Italian publication, Transfermarketweb, reports that Inter aren’t that impressed with Joao Mario’s performances this term and are looking to reinforce their midfield despite the 24-year-old netting three goals in five matches.

Portuguese international Mario has four years remaining on his current Inter deal.

While it was always sure Alexis Sanchez would be leaving North London, Mesut Ozil’s news comes as a surprise.

During pre-season training, the Germany international said that he wanted to remain, even in interviews where he spoke at length about his love of the Emirate club and City of London, pointed to the midfielder staying.
