Premier League club Arsenal are prepared to swap Alexis Sanchez for Paris Saint Germain attacker Julian Draxler in a remarkable winter transfer.
Alexis Sanchez is out of contract at Arsenal next summer and seems not willing to sign a new contract with the Emirate club.
Sanchez was keen on a summer transfer to Manchester City, however a transfer deadline day £60million transfer failed to materialize when the Gunners were unable to bring in Monaco star Thomas Lemar as a replacement.
Now, as per the Daily Star, the Gunners are looking at a new move in order to get enough value from any Alexis Sanchez deal, rather than losing him for nothing next summer.
The Arsenal boss would prefer the Chilean to move abroad rather than to a English Premier League rival, and is a long-term fan of Julian Draxler.
The Germany international attacking midfielder joined Paris Saint Germain in January but has fallen down the pecking order due to the signings of Brazilian Neymar Jr. and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, as well as the incredible goalscoring form of Edinson Cavani.
However 24-year-old has well known quality and would be a likt-for-like replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is yet to find the back of the net this season for Arsenal.
