Chilean Alexis Sanchez missed Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Watford due to a minor thigh injury which he sustained while away with the Chile National team during the recent FIFA international break.

Welshman Aaron Ramsey was also left on the bench in the shock defeat at Vicarage Road after complaining of a tight hamstring problem following his exploits for Wales National team last week.

Defender Calum Chambers has been ruled out since aggravating a hip problem during Arsenal’s League Cup victory over Doncaster Rovers last month – which was his first game of the season.

French defender Laurent Koscielny gave the Gunners a massive injury scare after limping off during the closing moments against Watford but to fans delight, it turned out to only be just cramp and the reliable centre-back is prepared to recover swiftly.

Football London report that forward Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey, defender Koscielny and Chambers will all return for selection when Arsenal head to the Goodison on Sunday afternoon.
