Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted that his team have responded very well to the Liverpool loss in a ‘united way’.
The Gunners had a very tough end to the month of August, losing 4-0 to Merseyside giant Liverpool and going through a trying last week in the summer transfer market.
However, the month of September turned out to be a decent month, with five victories from six matches, and the victory over Brighton on Sunday afternoon has ensured a decent start to the month of October, too.
Arsene Wenger is understandably delighted with the way his players has come together and responded pretty well to the “crisis” at the beginning of the League season.
The good run of form has helped the team climb the Premier League table. Wenger’s team now sit fifth on the table, level on points with Premier League Champions Chelsea and just a point behind North London giant Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Gunners have a chance to continue their good run of form throughout the month of October with a couple of winnable matches ahead.
Arsenal face trips to Watford and Everton in the English Premier League, play host to Norwich City and Swansea City at the Emirates Stadium and have a home and away fixture against Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Europa League.
