A lot of fans were left disappointed as Arsenal were beaten by Manchester City. If there was anything to cheerup for, it was Alexis Sanchez’s passion for staring for Arsenal.
Sanchez has opened up on life in London and as a footballer.
Sanchez has been in fine form for us this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists in all competitions.
The South American said: “I do explore the city if I have the time for it but normally I would rather stay relaxed at home.
“London can be a stressful place because it’s crowded and it’s a big city.
“Our routines as footballers can be energy-consuming too.
“You play one game after another, meet new people every day and travel a lot.
“That is why I try to disconnect and relax as soon as I get some time off.”
When Sanchez does venture out in London he likes to meet with friends.
He added: “I like to go to London to eat something or have a drink with my friends.
“However, I am a very home-loving person and I spend a lot of time at home.”
Arsenal return to action on Boxing Day when they face West Brom at the Emirates.
The Gunners will be looking to close the nine-point gap to Premier League leaders Chelsea.
