For the first time in a long while, Arsene Wenger has a plethora of players within his possession which is somewhat giving him a selection headache.
Bournemouth defender Steve Cook has urged Arsenal on-loan star to the club Jack Wilshere to quit Arsenal permanently and be with them.
Wilshere struggled for fitness and form in his final few years at Arsenal, and his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium is now in serious doubt.
The England international will have a decision to make after his loan at Bournemouth ends, but Cook is impressed with what he’s seen from the player and hopes he’ll stay longer.
‘He’s a great lad and a great player to have in our team and around in training,’ Cook said.
‘I think it’s been a great decision for him and the team, obviously he’s playing great football and he’s really fitted in well. He’s really flourishing and showing the world how good he is.
‘He can help take Bournemouth to the next level, and hopefully if we can keep him fit and keep him enjoying his football, it would be nice to have him here for longer than this year.’
