Breaking: Arsenal set for shock move for £150,000-a-week Brazilian

Arsenal are in the hunt to sign Marcelo as the Brazilian full-back has asked to leave the Spanish giants Real Madrid, according to recent reports in Spain.

The 31-year-old star has spent 13 seasons at Los Blancos, winning four La Liga trophies and the Champions League four times.

But his place in manager Zinedine Zidane’s side is now under threat after Real Madrid completed the landing of French left-back Ferland Mendy in a £47m deal from Lyon earlier in the summer.

According to Sport, Marcelo wants to depart Madrid this summer having received multiple offers and his representatives are in negotiations with the Spanish club’s owner Florentino Perez.
