According to London Evening Standard and The Independent journalist James Olley, Arsenal will continue their team overhaul but not until end of summer.
Arsenal are in the January transfer market for a left wing player and a good defender, however, the Gunners are highly reluctant to do any more business than is absolutely needed thus month. Prices are ridiculously inflated and it is quite easy to panic buy.
Writing in a recent article about veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech, who wants to remain at Arsenal after the summer window when his deal runs out, Olley writes,
“Gunners head of football Raul Sanllehi is generally reluctant to do business in January and the club are expected to continue an overhaul of the squad this summer when money will be available, in part due to the injection of cash from sponsorship deals.”
