Besiktas midfield maestro Oguzhan Ozyakup has since become a star player since leaving North London club Arsenal back in 2012.
The Turkish international midfielder played a major role in his teams winning back to back Turkish league crown.
Oguzhan Ozyakup has also played a prominent role in Besiktas’ UEFA Champions League campaign this term.
Besiktas, nicknamed The Black Eagles, the Turkish club are currently topping Group G after winning their opening two matches against Portuguese side FC Porto and RB Leipzig.
The Istanbul club ended up becoming the first Turkish League team to defeat FC Porto in any European competition and win their opening two matches of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Oguzhan Ozyakup joined the Turkish side for only €500,000 but his price tag has increased ever since then.
The 24-year-old former Arsenal star spoke about his current price tag to Turkish sports publication Socrates.
He was questioned about Besiktas supporters claiming that he is now valued at around €150 million.
“I [Oguzhan Ozyakup] am valued at €150 million!,” Ozyakup answered.
“Together with [teammate] Cenk Tosun we [both players] are now valued at €300 million!.
“I [Oguzhan Ozyakup] have seen it[the valuation] of course, I [Oguzhan Ozyakup] keep being sent these messages about my price tag.
Besiktas will next lock horns with Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday October 1, Ozyakup is expected to make the team.
