Despite the propensity of clubs to sign established/experienced players, Arsenal have retained the ideology of nurturing players to ascend the grades of the club.
According to recent report, Arsenal have opened talks with German club for the transfer of highly rated youngster Gideon Zalelem.
The 19-year-old, who is a USA Under-23 international, has made just two first-team appearances for the Gunners so far this season, amounting to just 17 minutes of action in the club’s EFL Cup campaign against Nottingham Forest and Reading.
Zalalem is a highly rated star and he was sent out on loan to Rangers but the midfielder has failed to develop his game as desired.
The report stated that Dortmund wants him on a permanent deal but it is difficult or nearly impossible for Wenger to allow such youngsters to leave.
Meanwhile, Arsenal face Swansea in the Premier League this weekend.
