Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to nail down youngster Bukayo Saka’s future as a matter of urgency when the roster reconvene after their self-isolation next week, according to the latest reports.
The Gunners have been on lockdown since the previous Friday when Arteta tested positive for Covid-19 – the first PL figure to do so – and stars and staff have been self-isolating since then.
Mikel has only displayed mild symptoms of the virus, with his wife, Lorena Bernal, providing an update on Arteta’s condition over the weekend.
‘My husband is feeling fine, he is well,’ Lorena posted on social media.
It appears Mikel has been keeping busy during his period of self-isolation, with The Telegraph stating that he has drawn up a plan of action for when the team return and has made contract talks with Saka a priority.
