Deal Agreed for South American to become Arsenal’s first January transfer move

Arsenal are set to sell David Ospina to Napoli in the January window despite his impressive form while on loan, according to the Sun.

The Colombia international lost his place in the summer with the introduction of Bernd Leno from Bayern Leverkusen for £22.5million.

Napoli have the option to sign the Colombian international on a permanent basis for a fee in the region of £3.5m in the summer.

But manager Carlo Ancelotti has been so impressed with Ospina’s efforts as stand-in for the injured Alex Meret that he is keen to complete the signing in January.
