According to the Daily Express, Premier League side Southampton are heavily keen on re-signing Arsenal superstar winger Theo Walcott.
The 28 year old Englishman signed for the North London giant from the Saints for just £10million back in 2006, and has gone on to play 309 matches for the Emirates club, but his former side may make an offer later in the New year to bring the England international forward back to the South Coast.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s side are seeking extra firepower upfront to kick start their Premier League season, and according to the Expresssay, they would be willing to pay just £12million – £15million in order to sign Theo Walcott.
The pacey winger will have eighteen months remaining on his current Arsenal deal in January, and after having failed to start a single English Premier League game so far this League campaign, it could be that the player’s time at the Emirates Stadium has ended.
Theo Walcott was strongly linked with a move to Serie A giant Inter Milan by Calciomercato. it earlier this week, and rumour seems to be increasing over his future at the Premier League club.
