A report via the Daily Star claims Chelsea are close to securing a loan deal for Gonzalo Higuain move to Stamford Bridge but the deal will involve Alvaro Morata move the other way
The Blues have been strongly linked with a move for AC Milan forward Higuain, who is currently on loan from Juventus, for some time.
It is understood Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia has been in charge of negotiations over a deal with Milan sporting director Leonardo.
Allowing Chelsea to take over Higuain’s loan would save Milan money, as Chelsea would have to pay the remaining £8million fee to Juve. Higuain also earns more than Morata’s £140,000-a-week Chelsea wages
