Deal Almost Agreed! Arsenal Confirmed To seal £17.7million Move For World Class Attacking Midfielder

Germany international midfielder Mesut Ozil is being strongly linked with a January transfer to Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

Mesut Ozil is out of Arsenal deal next summer and therefore could be sold in the January transfer window to ensure that they recoup some money from his exit.

As reported by Merca Futbol, La Liga side Atletico Madrid are one of the suitors who could attempt to capture the signature of the German in January.

The same publication reported that the Spanish team could make an offer of £17.7million as they know that the Gunners would not be able to ask for much more than that figure, given Mesut Ozil’s contract situation.

Atletico Madrid already have Spain winger Vitolo and former Chelsea striker Diego Costa arriving in the month of January, and would regard Mesut Ozil as the last piece of the jigsaw.

However, the former Real Madrid Superstar could wait until next summer before making a decision on his next destination, as he thinks he will have more options to select from.

Amongst the top European sides strongly linked with Mesut Ozil are Italian Serie A giant Inter Milan and Premier League giant Manchester United.

The Guerman worked under Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho at European Champion Real Madrid and has a good working relationship with the former Chelsea manager.
