According to the latest reports in Lancashire Live, Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are prepared to renew their interests in AS Roma attacker Cengiz Under when the transfer market re-opens in January.
The 22-year-old Turkish star has been a subject of wide interest from teams around Europe. But, none of them could force Giallorossi into making a deal during the summer transfer market.
However, both the Gunners and Spurs are not going to give up on their long-term pursuit of the player. Cengiz is currently rated around £45 million, a price tag that will not come down even in January.
While Arsenal have broken their club-record to bolster their wing position by landing Nicolas Pepe, Spurs are yet to make significant acquisitions that could enhance the quality of their attack.
