Real Madrid have reportedly seen a bid for France World Cup champion Benjamin Pavard rejected.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the defender, but Los Blancos are willing to bring the full-back to Santiago Bernabeu in January. The Frenchman would attract a hefty transfer fee having won the World Cup being the No.1 right-back during the summer.

And Sport Bild claims Real have made their move for Pavard ahead of January, but VfB Stuttgart have turned down the offer.

Bundesliga side do not want to do business in January, seeing little sense in selling a key player mid-way through the season. La Liga giants are in touch with German club and are now a step ahead of Benjamin Pavard’s other suitors.
