Premier League heavyweights Arsenal have edged closer to sealing the deal for one of their top targets, Unai Emery’s side may have finally solved their issues at the back ahead of the new season.
According to a British tabloid newspaper the Sun, the Gunners have made a £25 million bid to Celtic for talented full-back Kieran Tierney.
The defender has been heavily connected with the Gunners this summer transfer window and it looks as though a switch to the Emirates Stadium is imminent.
If the reported deal goes through it will be the biggest in the history of Scottish football.
It’s understood that the north London outfit had a £15m bid snubbed by the Scottish giants last month, Arsenal’s latest bid should be enough to strike the deal as per The Times, Celtic’s price tag for the ace is £25 million.
