According to reports last week emanating from Turkey, Premier League giant Manchester United are interested in Trabzonspor attacker Yusuf Yazici.
However, latest reports from Turkey has it that Arsenal who have made the first approach, with Habertürk reporting that Arsenal have made an official €16million bid for the attacking midfielder.
As per Turkish outlet, Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger’s team also happens to be the 20-year-old’s favourite English Premier League side.
Despite attracting a number of attention during the second stanza of last campaign after exploding onto the limelight, Turkish side Trabzonspor managed to hold onto their starlet over the summer, and plan on doing so until at least the end of the current campaign.
Habertürk said that while Arsenal’s bid has been met with excitement, no positive or negative reply to the offer has been given.
The news outlet state that notwithstanding the amount offered, the Turkish Süper Lig team intent on keeping their youngster for now.
Fans have to wait and see if more comes out of this report, but if United and Arsenal, as well as French Ligue 1 Champions Monaco, are after the player, supporters could end up with an interesting transfer saga next year.
