Premier League giant Arsenal have been strongly linked with a transfer for FC Barcelona midfield star Rafinha for some time now.
According to reports, the North Londoners were offered the opportunity to sign the Brazilian in a reduced-price deal in the recently slammed summer transfer window, but no move materialized.
However, as per reports in Spain via talkSPORT, Spanish La Liga side Barcelona remain keen to let go of the 24-year-old Arsenal star, and the Gunners could look to switch for him in the next transfer window.
Brazil international Rafinha is a top quality player who has always been tipped for huge things at the Camp Nou, but injury problems and a lack of matches have largely hindered his development with the Spanish La Liga giants.
The versatile midfielder is said to be interested in securing regular first-team football on in the second stanza of the League season given that the FIFA World Cup follows almost immediately after. The Barcelona star will be willing to break into Tite’s plans for his Brazil squad ahead of the World Cup in Russia.
Italian Serie A giant AC Milan are also believed to be interested in Rafinha.
