Germany international midfielder Ozil has less than 12 months left on his current Arsenal contract at the Emirates and although the Gunners will likely be interested in extending that contract, the Germany international will soon be free to discuss transfer terms with foreign clubs.
As reported by Sporx, one of those foreign clubs could be Turkish Super League side Fenerbahce, who may soon have the more than enough in the bank to offer the German a lucrative contract to move to the Turkish Super League.
Billionaire businessman Ali Koc is reportedly looking to become Fenerbahce ‘s new president, and it is widely thought that the midfielder would be keen on making the former Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil his key signing.
The 28-year-old playmaker will not be without offers as his current Arsenal deal approaches a conclusion, with Manchester United tactician Jose Mourinho also said to be interested in taking the former Bayern Munich star to Old Trafford.
Mesut Ozil is yet to find the back of the net a goal or provide an assist in his five match appearances for the North London club this campaign.
