According to Transfermarketweb, Premier League giant Arsenal are set to face tough competition in the form of Serie A giant Inter Milan if they wish to sign Germany international forward Marco Reus.
The English Premier League side, who defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 at the Emirates before this week’s FIFA international break, have been strongly linked with the German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund winger ahead of the winter transfer window later next year.
The 28-year-old attacker, who has played 29 international matches for his country, has failed to play for the German Bundesliga side so far this campaign due to a serious knee problem, after tearing his cruciate ligament during last season’s German Cup final.
Marco Reus, who is not expected to come back to action until 2018, has netted 89 goals in 189 matches for Borussia Dortmund overall since signing from Rot Weiss Ahlen in 2009.
However, the report claim Serie A side Inter Milan are targeting the left winger ahead of the January transfer market, but also report English Premier League club Arsenal are still tracking the Bundesliga star and his subsequent recuperation process.
Marco Reus is under deal until June 2019, but could be offloaded for about €40million in January.
