Unai Emery’s Arsenal are reportedly the possible destination for Brazilian top tier Serie A club Bahia defensive midfielder Ramires, who is set to move in January transfer window.
According to Brazil’s most accessed news portal UOL, via Sport Witness, the young midfielder could be set to depart from Bahia and join Arsenal in the next transfer window.
The report states that Arsenal are leading the race to land the all-around midfielder, with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid also said to be taking a keen interest in the technically gifted star.
The 18-year-old sensation has made 11 senior appearances for Bahia this campaign, scoring once and assisting two.
Highly-rated ace is known as a defensive midfielder and is thought to be one of the most promising youngsters in his native Brazil.
The north London giants now look set to finalise a deal for Ramires as they look to strengthen their youth academy ranks.
The Gunners have already had success with landing a young midfielder when they brought in Mateo Guendouzi in the summer. The French has impressed in the senior team this season.
