Hirving Lozano has said he hopes to play for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven for years, after the Gunners were reportedly keen on signing the forward.
Spanish publication Marca are reporting Arsenal are pursuing Hirving Lozano, despite the Mexican forward only joining PSV Eindhoven over the summer, as per latest reports.
Hirving Lozano was questioned about speculations of an early exit, and he responded: “How long do I [Lozano] play at PSV [Eindhoven]? I [Lozano] do not know that. I [Lozano] am now fully focused on the team [PSV] and hope to play for years. PSV [Eindhoven] is a beautiful side with fantastic people.”
Arsenal scout Steve Rowley has been watching the player closely this League season, and it’s thought that the Gunners are set to offer £22.4million in January.
After another goal scored against Heracles Almelo, the Arsenal target now has seven in as many league matches for his new team, as well as making four assists. Considering he has been playing those matches from the wing, both on the left and right, his goal contributions to the team are all the more impressive.
The 22-year-old’s also have impressive goal figure for the national side at the moment. Last month, he netted the winner for his National team against Panama. Earlier this month, he came off the substitute bench to equalise the goal against Trinidad and Tobago, before former United forward Chicharito and Héctor Herrera won the match in the dying minutes.
