Edison Cavani Confirms Arsenal Move Ahead Of January Window

 

Arsenal and Manchester United are both linked with signing the Uruguayan goal poacher Edison Cavani.

According to reports, we  are preparing to approach Paris Saint Germain at the opening of the transfer window of January for Cavani.

Cavani has fill in the boots of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the French Champions, he has always played a good role for the club giving his best as a good captain.

According to reports from the France, Le Parisien, the PSG striker was linked to the Premier League in the summer but he played down the possibility of  a move to Arsenal or Manchester United when he said:

‘’I am gladly proud playing for one of the best teams in the world and that fills my heart with joy.’’

And addressing the rumors suggesting he wanted to leave because, he was being played out of position Cavani said.

‘’It was not that I wanted to leave the club, I love to stay and play in my position, but in my position was Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I liked PSG but I wanted to continue my career as a striker. At the end of last season, I had a meeting with the board where they told me I would be playing as a striker, and, for that moment on, I was happy.”
