according to reports, Arsenal are set to do battle with Everton for the second time in the space of six months, this time for Nordsjaelland prodigy Marcus Ingvartsen.

Arsene Wenger locked horns with Ronaldo Koeman over the summer for Spanish forward Lucas Perez, and the Gunners boss will hope to get the better of his Dutch counterpart again for one of the most highly-rated strikers in Europe.

The 20-year-old striker has scored nine goals this season in 17 appearances in all competitions and, according TMW, he has been watched by Arsenal scouts on several occasions already.

Ingvartsen has been nicknamed the ‘Danish Inzaghi’ due to his penalty box prowess, and is only contracted to his Danish club the summer of 2018.

As well as interest from Premier League clubs, the likes of Juventus, Werder Bremen and PSV have also been credited with monitoring the player’s progress
