Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has provided an update on the fitness of Spaniard Santi Cazorla, and the Spain international midfielder is not in contention to feature in any senior team football again before Christmas.
The 32-year-old midfield maestro sustained a knee injury back in November 2015, which saw the Spaniard miss almost the entire League season.
Last year Cazorla managed just 11 matches before sustaining an Achilles injury back in October, which has kept him out of active football action ever since.

The midfielder is in the last year of his current Arsenal contract, though the player may yet have his contract extended provided he can return to full match fitness and maintain the fitness, as per Staplehurst.
The versatile midfielder will clock 33 by the time he returns to active football action for Arsene Wenger’s team, but his technique, composure, and guile in the midfield will make him a prominent figure at the North London club.
If the playmaker can continue to perform well and display those brilliant qualities upon his return from his long layoff, it will be a major boost for the North London club to have him return to action.
