Great News – Cazorla’s Replacement Confirms He Wants Arsenal Deal

After being heavily involved in the summer transfer market, Arsene Wenger is now looking to secure deals for some of his key players,

Despite what Jack Wilshere appears to have been implying recently about his Arsenal future, the midfielder now seems to have hinted that he could be returning to north London after all.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Bournemouth and is having a great time. In fact, now that he’s fit, he’s starting every match, which raises the question of whether he’ll ever want to return to Arsenal.

Combine this with recent interviews about being unsure regarding his future and most of us were pretty certain the lad was off, especially considering his contract is up at the end of next season.

“It’s difficult for me to say because I love Arsenal and I’ve had great times there, and they’ve been great for me, and I can still see myself playing there,” he said last month.

“But who knows what the future holds? I’ve got a year left when I go back there.

“At the moment I’m just trying to have a season where it puts me in a good position at the end of the year, I’m improved as a player and Arsenal want me back, and we’ll see where we go from there.

“I always thought to myself ‘of course I love Arsenal’ but if there comes a time where I have to leave, then I have to leave, you know? If I go back and I’m not going to be playing, then, of course, I have to think about things.

“But at the moment I’m concentrating on Bournemouth. I want to put myself in a position where I go back next year and I’m a better player, and I’m fitter, and I can prove to people I can play week in, week out, and I’m ready for the challenge.”

However, Arsene Wenger recently said that the club were going to offer him a new contract, which Wilshere seems to have heard loud and clear.

“At the moment, my head is in Bournemouth,” the midfielder said.

“I know as much as everyone else knows.

“I read what the boss at Arsenal said and at the moment I’m focused on performing for Bournemouth and putting myself in a position where Arsenal want to offer me a new contract and I’m in a strong position at the end of the season.

“At the moment, I’m taking each game as it comes, working hard and I’m looking forward to the next six or seven months here at Bournemouth. We’ll see what happens after that.”

It’s probably no coincidence that Jack is back-tracking now that news has emerged that Cazorla will be undergoing Achilles surgery as he runs down the final year of his Arsenal contract.

If Santi goes, it’s very possible that Jack will indeed stay.
