Arsenal have began talks with FC Barcelona over a loan move for Andre Gomes this summer transfer window.
According to Football London, the Gunners are looking into a swoop to bring Andre Gomes to the side on loan.
The midfielder has struggled to cement a regular spot at the La Liga side since his transfer to the club from Spanish club Valencia in 2016.
He has played 78 matches in two years for the Catalan club across all competitions, netting three times.
However, the Portuguese only played 16 La Liga matches last term, leading to rumour over his future in Spain.
The report suggests that the Gunners are not ready to match Barcelona’s asking price of Andres Gomes, which still stands at £26 million, leading to rumours over a loan switch.
The Emirates giants are looking to strengthen their midfield options and see the midfielder as the player to improve their midfield options.
