The London-based outfit Arsenal are considering a January swoop for Newcastle United ‘keeper Freddie Woodman, a daily newspaper The Chronicle exclusively reports.
The Chronicle revealed last month that Freddie was unhappy after being denied a loan switch by the club in the summer transfer window.
Woodman, one of England’s brightest goalkeeping aces, has made a handful of Under-23 appearances for Newcastle United this season. A number of sides, including Arsenal, are closely monitoring Woodman’s situation at Newcastle.
The Magpies are understood to have blocked a loan switch after Woodman refused to sign a 12 months contract extension on the same terms as his current deal, which was signed before he made his first senior-team debut.
