Arsenal coach Unai Emery has revealed that he wanted to land French striker Alexandre Lacazette when he was the coach of Paris Saint-Germani.
Emery left the Parisians at the end of last campaign, before taking over from Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium, having won the Ligue 1 title last term.
One man who has made Spaniard’s transition easier is Alexandre Lacazette, who has been in scintillating form upfront for the north London giants.
Lacazette has five goals and three assists this campaign, with only five starts to his name thus far.
And Unai has admitted that he has been an admirer of Alexandre for some time, claiming that he was interested in signing him for Paris Saint-Germain the season before last.
