Huge Blow! Two Arsenal attackers ruled out of game

Injuries have largely affected Arsenal’s team for a while now but Arsene Wenger has less injury concerns than previous seasons.

According to reports,

“Arsene Wenger explained ahead of Arsenal’s game with West Bromwich Albion that midfielders Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are out due to lack of fitness.

Oxlade-Chamberlain picked up a hamstring strain in the 2-1 defeat at Manchester City and although there were concerns it could lead to a long lay-off, scans showed that he will only be out for a matter if days.

While Walcott has a slight calf problem according to the Frenchman’s comments to the club’s official media. Although there was some good news for the squad earlier this week with Danny Welbeck returning to full training after nine months out.

After two defeats; first at Everton and then at the Etihad, a win is vital if the Gunners are to keep their lead over local rivals Tottenham Hotspur who are one point and one place behind them in fifth.”
