Arsenal have been linked to a plethora of star players for the upcoming transfer window but some of our players are also in the transfer wish list of other clubs.
Jurgen Klopp insists reports linking Liverpool with a move for Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are ‘nonsense’.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the 23-year-old is being targeted by Liverpool as Klopp seeks reinforcements in attack.
Liverpool will lose Sadio Mane next month as the winger heads off to the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, and Oxlade-Chamberlain is viewed as suitable competition for the summer signing from Southampton.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is understood to be frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunities under Arsene Wenger, having completed just one Premier League match this season.
But Klopp is adamant that Liverpool will not be moving for the Arsenal midfielder in the upcoming window.
‘Usually I don’t say anything about transfer rumours, but I can make an exception. This is nonsense,’ said Klopp.
