Aaron Lennon (knee) is set for a spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery, though no timeframe has been put on the winger’s return.
The Burnley manager is “hopeful” that Johann Berg Gudmundsson will return from the knock that kept him out of Gameweek 17, which would be timely given Lennon’s troubles.
Robbie Brady (knock) is also a minor doubt, so Dwight McNeil will be on standby to deputise on the flank.
Dyche rolled out a 5-4-1 at Spurs last week and frustrated the Lilywhites for much of the match, so could persist with that formation at the Emirates.
Steven Defour (calf) is still “touch and go”, so Ashley Westwood and Jack Cork will be confident of keeping their places in central midfield – though Jeff Hendrick is another option in the engine room.
Sam Vokes, Chris Wood and Matej Vydra will be pushing for a recall at the expense of Ashley Barnes, or even alongside him if the Clarets boss opts to revert to a 4-4-2.
Stephen Ward (knee) and Nick Pope (shoulder) are stepping up their recoveries and will soon be in contention.
