Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera says Wednesday’s clash with Arsenal is a Cup final after their 2-2 draw at Southampton.
Despite coming back from two goals down it was seen as a missed opportunity for United against a Southampton side who have only one at home in the Premier League once this year.
“It’s two points dropped, but apart from that we can build from what we did after they scored the second goal,” said Herrera.
“We did the most difficult thing in football, we came back and drew the game but we didn’t win it. Half time came at the wrong moment for us, but that’s not an excuse, we should have won the game.”
On Arsenal, he added: “We should forget right now about the table, we should try to win every game. That’s how we will reach the top four. We should approach the Arsenal game like a final.”
