As per reports from Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Serie A side Napoli are in the market for a fresh left-back ahead of next campaign and have named Arsenal transfer target Alex Grimaldo as one of their possible targets.
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future of Faouzi Ghoulam at the club, who is presently suffering from a damaged kneecap, and Alex Grimaldo is the latest player to be on Napoli’s wishlist.
Alex Grimaldo has been heavily linked with the North London club in the past, along with Premier League giants Manchester United, French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.
The Gunners completed the signing of Sead Kolasinac on a free last summer window. The Bosnian international has faced his ups and downs at the club and has been guilty of inconsistent performances throughout the campaign, which has led to Spaniard Nacho Monreal heading back in to the starting line-up.
