‘Next Thiery Henry’ and National Hero Targets New Personal Record against Watford

Arsenal youngster and National team hero has set a new Personal record for himself ahead of the Gunners Premier League clash with Watford on Saturday Afternoon.

Super Eagles hero last weekend Alex Iwobi is targeting a new personal record when the Gunners visit The Vicarage to play Watford on Saturday afternoon, October 14.

Since becoming a professional footballer, the Hale End Academy product has not scored in three matches on the bounce cumulatively for the North London giant and the Nigerian national team.

Alex Iwobi first scored in two consecutive games back in the 2015-2016 Premier League season when he grabbed goals against Everton on March 19 and Watford on April 2.

And he matched his best goal streak by scoring against FC Basel in the UEFA Champions League and Stoke City in the Premier League back in December 2016.

For the third very time in his playing career, Iwobi had a two-match scoring streak, against Brighton & Hove in the Carabao Cup and Zambia in a FIFA World Cup qualifier last weekend.

The 21-year-old Alex Iwobi has 77 matches under his belt for Arsenal and Nigeria, scoring nine goals.
