Nketiah unlikely to remain at Arsenal beyond summer market

Arsenal are planning to send Eddie Nketiah on loan to an EFL Championship club next campaign as they believe it’ll be beneficial to his development.

The 20-year-old ace has scored three times in 19 games for the Gunners since making his debut versus BATE Borisov in the UEFA Europa League in 2017.

Nketiah famously netted twice in a 2-1 League Cup victory against Norwich City on his second Gunners appearance and netted his first EPL goal against Burnley in May.

The England Under-21 international was Unai Emery’s third-choice striker last campaign behind Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but will be allowed to depart on a short-term basis.
